Within our department General Accounting we are seeking for a General Accounting Manager with the mission of leading our accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The position Reports to the Head of Financial Control.

Your responsibilities
As Manager General Accounting, you are responsible for e.g.:
- Leading and developing a team of accounting professionals.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management and General expense closing.
- Managing monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
- Supporting the reporting team with Group quarterly reporting package.
- Managing accounting and reporting for multiple subsidiaries, including full audit responsibility.
- Coordinating external audits and support tax inspections.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, BEGAAP and tax regulations.
- Handling corporate legal statutory matters, including capital increases, dividend distributions, corporate restructuring and coordination with notaries for official deeds.
- Contributing to projects such as portfolio migrations.
- Guaranteeing the continuous improvement of processes within the team.
- Steering the budget allocated to the department.
Your profile
- You have A bachelor’s in accounting or the equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar function and have a strong background in accounting and reporting (BEGAAP & IFRS).
- You have excellent knowledge of French or Dutch and you are comfortable working in English.
- You have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and a knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- You have proven leadership skills.
- You are rigorous, organised and can manage your priorities and respect tight deadlines.
- You can work and learn quickly and at a sustained rhythm in a dynamic environment.
- You have an analytical mind and are solutions and results oriented.
- You can communicate with all kinds of interlocutor and are able to present results to senior management effectively and clearly.
