Votre mission

As Program Officer, you will – among other programs – be working on Code United. More specifically, you will be in charge of :

• Coordinating Code United camps 3 to 4 times a year
• • Planning the camps, working in close contact with the operators
  • • Choose the cities and number of camps/cities to meet the objectives in terms of #kids
    • Find the hosting schools
    • Define the content, the planning and required operators
    • Lead the discussions with existing and potential new operators
    • Recruit the teams of flying animators
    • Manage the camps on the ground with the teams, including all logistics ahead, during and after
  • Taking care of the strategy and the roll-out of kids recruitment in the specific cities
  • • Put structural partnerships in place with local partners to facilitate the recruitment
  • Monitoring the impact of the camps
  • • Capture and report on the impact of camps
    • Write activity reports afterwards including key learnings of the camps and next steps
• Leading the internal and external communication of Code United
• Preparing board meetings
• Managing the back office of Code United
• Budget
• • Accounting
  • Invoice payments
• Supporting the fundraising efforts

Votre profil

• You have a kick-ass attitude combined with an entrepreneurial mindset

• You are passionate about education and you are all about impact
• You are committed to finding solutions to problems in a positive mindset
• You have the ability to communicate with various interlocutors
• You are able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaborate with a team
• You have minimum 2 years experience in project management
• You have good knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Slides, Sheets and Docs)
• You are fluent in French and Dutch and are comfortable in English
