Your mission

For our facilities at Zaventem (Brussels Airport), Equans is looking for a Field Service Engineer Screening.

Are you passionate about electronics and IT and would you like to work in an international environment? Then this opportunity is for you! In this role, you will ensure the proper functioning of the complex and advanced X-ray and detection equipment at Zaventem - Brussels Airport.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

you ensure the proper functioning of the weapons and explosives scanning/detection systems

You will repair the breakdowns of the equipment and carry out maintenance according to the instructions of the machine manufacturer

You will increase your technical knowledge of all devices and maintain this knowledge

you work in a team and discuss technical problems with your colleagues

in case of problems or if you need help, you communicate with producers and suppliers

you are customer oriented and contribute to maintaining our high customer satisfaction rate, including reporting all interventions directly to the customer

You work on breaks to ensure 24/7 operations at Brussels Airport

You will make every effort to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set by the customer

Your profile

• a bachelor's degree in electricity, electromechanics or electronics; or similar experience
• ability to independently troubleshoot electrical installations & computer equipment
• willingness to work on breaks 24/7
• proactive, stress resistant and customer oriented
• a valid driver's license
• basic knowledge of Dutch, French and English
