Our group, active in Belgium and Luxembourg, continues its growth and is strengthening its Finance department with a mid-level In-house Accountant ready to grow.

Here, you will never be alone:
• an in-house accounting colleague already in place,
• a former chartered accountant present internally to support and supervise you,
• a team of 4 HR & Finance professionals,
• external chartered accountants for more complex tax matters.

Your mission

1. General Accounting – Belgium & Luxembourg

You will play a key role in daily and analytical management:
• Sorting and processing accounting emails, operational follow-up.
• Entering purchases, sales, financial transactions, journal entries (including payroll) — with analytics.
• Internal re-invoicing (vehicles, charging stations, various expenses, etc.).
• Managing customer/supplier payment schedules, reminders & collections.
• Preparing accounting statements, closings, balance sheets.
• Financial analyses (margins, costs, profitability) + recommendations to management.

2. Declarations & legal obligations

• VAT declarations (monthly / quarterly), intrastat, customer listings.
• UBO, withholding tax, NBB.
• Support for external accountants for in-depth taxation (e.g., corporate tax).

3. HR Administrative Support

• Transmitting attendance/absences to the social secretariat.
• Payroll consistency check.
• Administrative management of personnel files, in collaboration with the HR manager.

You will work in tandem and be in direct contact with the group's management.
Internal training is provided if you are proficient in only one of the legislations (BE or LU).

Your profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Fluent in French; Dutch or English = asset.
• Comfortable with Excel.
• Assets: Sage BOB, Mercator ERP.
• Rigor, organization, autonomy, communication.
• Desire to integrate into a solid and experienced team.
• Available quickly.
