YOUR MISSION

At Leonidas, a clear marketing strategy and vision have been established, focusing on the rollout of the international strategy.

As Marketing Director, you participate in the selection of development axes and the marketing strategy, and you propose a marketing plan to develop the Leonidas brand worldwide, with particular focus on the Benelux, and France.

You are responsible for promoting the company's image and can respond to market trends in the sector.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and monitoring Leonidas's international marketing strategy, ensuring consistency of products, prices, distribution, and advertising channels used. Furthermore, you are responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing the marketing plan;

• Supervising and conducting market research, including competitive analysis in collaboration with the sales department;

• Leading innovation projects for new products and initiatives (preparation of tests for new products, new marketing and promotion methods). Monitoring the coherence of potential developments with the expectations and needs of end customers/markets;

• Ensuring the testing of new products, both internally and externally;

• Actively seeking and developing new niches, in consultation with sales and based on market insights and trends;

• You are responsible for the global communication policy and propose an advertising budget that will be followed up after validation. You oversee the execution of advertising plans and promotional campaigns. You also manage communication with customers, as well as professional communication with all partners, ensure internal communication, and ensure Leonidas is represented at commercial events;

• Inspiringly leading the Marketing team and helping them to further develop and give their best;

• Being involved in all studies aimed at maintaining the highest level of quality;

• Inspiring, you act as a sparring partner for the various departments and all marketing professionals;

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Master's degree and a specialization in Marketing, coupled with relevant strategic/operational marketing experience. You have already encountered a wide range of marketing domains: NPD, innovation management, brand management, category management, channel management, trade marketing, brand equity, etc.;

• The aforementioned experiences are ideally gained within an FMCG/product context where the product evokes an experience/pleasure/emotion in the consumer.

• You ideally have strong knowledge of luxury/experiential retail where pleasure is central;

• You combine a well-developed analytical mindset (market insights) with a strategic vision that you can translate to tactical and operational levels. You are strongly focused on excellent execution;

• You are distinctly results-oriented and pragmatic, and you succeed in translating strategic vision into implementation and tangible sales results;

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are solution-oriented;

• In addition to a passion for marketing, you are a natural leader with well-developed people management skills;

• Dynamic, you are characterized by a high degree of maturity, autonomy, decisiveness, and drive;

• You are a strong team player and set an example for your colleagues.

• You are (perfectly) trilingual: Dutch, French, and English;
