EURENCO Clermont, a subsidiary of the EURENCO Group, the European leader in energetic materials, specializes in the production of small-caliber spherical powders (formerly PB Clermont). EURENCO Clermont is now the largest producer of spherical powders in Europe and the second largest worldwide. EURENCO Clermont powder is a global benchmark for many major international manufacturers of small-caliber ammunition.

Spherical powders are the most commonly used powders for many applications:

- Defense & Security: Ammunition propellants

- Civilian (Sports & Hunting): Rifle and pistol ammunition

- Industry: Powered tools and cartridges

- Reloading: Powders for rifles & pistols

The site currently employs 175 workers (240 planned by 2026) and operates with various work schedules, including shift work. The site is undergoing an organizational transformation process to increase production capacity and modernize the site.

Role Purpose

In a context of strong growth (doubling of production capacity by 2026, major modernization investments, workforce growth), the HR Director will play a strategic role in supporting this organizational transformation, strengthening the employer brand, securing the social climate, and developing talent in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities & Main Tasks

1. HR Strategy & Change Management

  • Deploy and adapt the Group's HR strategy locally
  • Lead organizational transformation and support cultural change
  • Ensure the social and organizational performance of the site

2. Employee Relations

  • Actively manage relations with employee representative bodies (Works Council/Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work)
  • Maintain a constructive social dialogue and anticipate tensions
  • Oversee disciplinary policies, conflicts, and labor disputes

3. Talent Management & Skills Development

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training processes
  • Develop internal talent (mobility, upskilling)
  • Structure an attractive HR policy that is consistent with growth challenges

4. Compensation & HR Administration

  • Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of salary policies
  • Deploy job classifications and optimize existing packages (likely the biggest "project" in 2026)
  • Ensure legal compliance (labor law, taxation, collective agreements)

5. HR Management & Reporting

  • Implement HR tools (KPIs, HR analytics, budget, audits)
  • Ensure the application of Group processes and compliance with standards (ISO)
  • Be the key HR point of contact on site in genuine partnership with the site CEO

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

- A minimum of 10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Proven experience in employee relations (Works Council/Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work).

- Experience leading both soft and hard HR projects (including indirect responsibility for payroll, outsourced to a payroll provider within EURENCO).
