Logistics and Operations Manager · PLUO

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational logistics management
  • Define a logistics strategy for our warehouse in Belgium and for the development of a European network
  • Supervise internal and external assembly teams.
  • Manage field teams' schedules and assignments.
• Be the owner of operational excellence at PLUO
  • Ensure quality deliverables from Logistics and Operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods (Lean, etc.)
  • Establish transport, assembly, and disassembly schedules.
• Financial monitoring of the Logistics department and ownership of the profit and loss statement.
• Guarantee key Logistics deliverables (inventory, inbound/outbound, quality assembly and disassembly, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Own projects that allow us to reduce our environmental footprint in logistics

Candidate Profile

Technical skills:

• You have a minimum of 5 years of field experience with teams of employees and workers.
• You have experience in logistics and/or industrial production.
• You have implemented improvement projects in logistics and/or industry with demonstrated results.
• You have demonstrated experience in leadership and team management.
• You are organized, rigorous, and know how to prioritize.
• You are proactive and have a critical mind.
• You have a sense of customer service and clear communication.
• You speak French perfectly and have a C1 level in English.
• You have already used an ERP, ideally Odoo.
• You have good stress management and good abilities to handle unforeseen events.
• You have good knowledge of safety standards.
• A certification such as Lean, Six Sigma is a plus.
