The Sales Manager is responsible for the company's growth in its strategic markets through the network of stores and the Leonidas branch in Cologne. They are also responsible for managing this Leonidas branch and the teams in place.
The main point of contact between the company and its resellers (CLR/CLD), as well as between the company and the branch.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop strategic partnerships with key regional players.
- Identify new business development opportunities to ensure the company's future growth.
- Take responsibility for sales pipeline development targets and revenue targets.
- Develop carefully and closely monitor the sales and marketing plan.
- Take responsibility for the region's P&L: accurately manage your sales forecasts and marketing budgets, analyse your monthly sales and explain any discrepancies.
- Constantly gather and analyse relevant market and competitor data to anticipate consumer needs and ensure correct market positioning.
- Regularly visit local sales teams and local resellers to understand customer needs and anticipate upcoming market trends.
- Use consultative selling skills to approach potential new customers and develop relevant business solutions.
- Rigorously supervise the execution of new CLR openings, ensuring their perfect implementation.
- Represent the company at relevant trade fairs and exhibitions to raise brand awareness and seize new business opportunities.
Your profile:
- Knowledge of German and English (essential). French and/or Dutch are an asset. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic monitoring skills to anticipate market developments.
- Proven experience in managing, leading and developing networks.
- Successful sales background in the retail sector.
- Proven skills in strategy, management and analysis.
- Excellent communicator, solution-oriented, with a pragmatic approach.
- Strong ability to identify and solve problems independently.
- Willingness to travel to Germany at least once a week, with regular travel to other countries concerned.
- Strong commitment to their assignments, with a high degree of autonomy and a real sense of initiative.
- A strong taste for teamwork and collaboration.
- Sociable, outgoing personality with a natural ability to make contact and engage in dialogue.
