Join Athora Belgium as a Test Manager on a permanent contract in Brussels!

Within our Transformation department we are looking for a Test Coordinator to support its transformation journey. He/she will work within the ‘Transformation’ team on various medium / large projects, with multiple ones in parallel.
As the Test Coordinator at Athora Belgium, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance products and services through efficient and comprehensive testing processes.

The team is made up of 5 internal colleagues who are just waiting for you!

Your responsabilities

As a Test Coordinator and in the context of transformation projects, your responsibilities will include :

  • Checking completeness of requirements;
  • Defining test strategy;
  • Describing test scenario to be executed;
  • Coordinating test execution by the (external) teams and prepare test cases to be further automated;
  • Defining transversally and deploying standardized methodology, governance and processes to build a strong and reliable testing capability;
  • Being responsible for managing (external) testing professionals and overseeing the development and execution of test strategies;
  • Ensuring that our products meet high-quality standards.

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a testing or quality assurance environment, in test management & test methodology.
  • You have a strong knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and automation.
  • You have knowledge of the technical application landscape (at least for one domain) and at least ‘basic’ knowledge about IT platforms, technology solutions, IT (development) standards & software development lifecycle models.
  • You have basic knowledge about non-functional requirements and software (& hardware) architecture.
  • You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • You have a very good knowledge of French, English and Dutch. You can adapt yourself to the languages spoken by different people.
  • You are collaborative and able to work independently.
  • You have an eye for detail and precision.
  • You enjoy taking new challenges.
  • You can easily adapt yourself and you are flexible.
  • You are resilient and able to deal with unforeseen events.
  • You dare to think out-of-the-box and to be innovative.
